(Eric from Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia)
A: Don't worry, Eric, Bible Junior made it home safely. He wasn't really alone because Crusader Joe and Mr. Bible are always keeping a close eye on that little rascal! They make sure that he holds hands before crossing the street and he never runs too far ahead. We have to take care of our little friend the same way God always takes care of us. That's one way we show God how much we love Him! (And all the Crusaders love the Basillica too, it's one of our favorite places.)
Mr. Bible, did you get smaller? I saw you before and you were a lot bigger. (Colin, via email)
A: Why thank you for noticing, Colin, I am a little smaller. I've been working very hard to spread God's word and I've been watching what I eat. It's important to take care of yourself, because your body is a gift from God.
I really like your website, can you do a coloring page with Bible Junior? I saw him at my Church and he's very funny. Did he really try to run to our Church? (William in New York)
A: Our little adventure bible runs everywhere, he just has a little bit of a hard time stopping! It's all because he's very excited to see all of his little friends. I'll send you one of his pictures so you can remember him. We'll try to make a coloring page with all of our adventures very soon. Btw, we had a great time in New York, and we really love the Actor's Chapel.
Why are there so many kinds of religions? I have a lot of friends that go to different churches, but they all say they talk about Jesus in church. (Josh in Tampa) A: That's a wonderful question, Josh, I hope my anwer isn't too confusing. All of your friends that go to church and talk about Jesus are called 'Christians'. Being a Christian means that you believe in, and follow, Jesus. So to be a Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist or Episcopalian (and there's a lot more!), you have to be a Christian first. If your friends go to a church (or temple) and don't talk about Jesus, they might be Jewish or Muslim or Buddhist.
The Crusaders best friends in Gospel Gulch live in 'Casa de Slightly Different Crusadio'. While we're not exactly alike, we do lots of stuff together. We know we're all brothers and sisters because they have the same dad as us- God!
