If You'd like to ask the Crusaders a question, just send us a note on our "Contact" page. Mr. Bible answers every question!

Thanks for coming to my school. Bible Junior is really funny. I had a cast just like his last summer, so he can't go swimming.

(James from Saint Rose)

A: The Crusaders and I love to visit people and tell them about Jesus, the Saints and our faith. It's our favorite thing! Bible Junior's foot is all better now, and he doesn't have to wear his cast anymore. It's not a good idea for books to go swimming, so Bible Junior and I have a nice big umbrella to sit under.

Did Bible Junior come home yet? I'm not allowed to go places by myself and I heard him on the radio walking by himself. I saw where the Cardinal lives too.

(Eric from Saints Peter and Paul, Philadelphia)

A: Don't worry, Eric, Bible Junior made it home safely. He wasn't really alone because Crusader Joe and Mr. Bible are always keeping a close eye on that little rascal! They make sure that he holds hands before crossing the street and he never runs too far ahead. We have to take care of our little friend the same way God always takes care of us. That's one way we show God how much we love Him! (And all the Crusaders love the Basillica too, it's one of our favorite places.)

Mr. Bible, did you get smaller? I saw you before and you were a lot bigger.

(Colin, via email)

A: Why thank you for noticing, Colin, I am a little smaller. I've been working very hard to spread God's word and I've been watching what I eat. It's important to take care of yourself, because your body is a gift from God.

I really like your website, can you do a coloring page with Bible Junior? I saw him at my Church and he's very funny. Did he really try to run to our Church? (William in New York)

A: Our little adventure bible runs everywhere, he just has a little bit of a hard time stopping! It's all because he's very excited to see all of his little friends. I'll send you one of his pictures so you can remember him. We'll try to make a coloring page with all of our adventures very soon. Btw, we had a great time in New York, and we really love the Actor's Chapel.

Why are there so many kinds of religions? I have a lot of friends that go to different churches, but they all say they talk about Jesus in church. (Josh in Tampa)

A: That's a wonderful question, Josh, I hope my anwer isn't too confusing. All of your friends that go to church and talk about Jesus are called 'Christians'. Being a Christian means that you believe in, and follow, Jesus.  So to be a Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist or Episcopalian (and there's a lot more!), you have to be a Christian first. If your friends go to a church (or temple) and don't talk about Jesus, they might be Jewish or Muslim or Buddhist.

The Crusaders best friends in Gospel Gulch live in 'Casa de Slightly Different Crusadio'. While we're not exactly alike, we do lots of stuff together. We know we're all brothers and sisters because they have the same dad as us- God!

Mr. Bible, is Mr. Magisterium really a good guy? I saw a movie where people called the magisterium were the bad guys and now I'm confused (John from Saint Adalbert, Philadelphia)

A: John, my friend, Mr. Magisterium might be the best guy in the whole world. His job is to lead millions and millions of people home to Jesus. That's the only thing he cares about and that will never change.

Did Saint Peter really fish men? (Abby at Holy Redeemer)

A: He sure did Abby! Jesus told Peter that the most important thing to do was to lead people to Heaven! That's how Saint Peter went fishing for people, he didn't really have to catch them with a net.

Why do you have two Mr. Bibles?  (Jennifer from St. Anne Parish, Philadelphia)

A: Hi Jennifer, there's only one God, but there are many bibles. I'm a love letter to God's children, so God made many of me to tell the whole world that he loves us. Bible Junior is my biggest helper! He's my little friend, and he's really good at speaking to kids.

A: Great question, Edward. We don't carry swords because we love our neighbors, and everyone is our neighbor! We Crusaders want to spread God's love to everyone by being nice to all the people we meet. Plus some people are afraid of swords.
